| Konsumsi urea domestik tahun lalu
mencapai 4,75 juta ton terdiri atas 4,29 juta ton untuk penggunaan
di sektor pertanian dan sisanya 464.000 ton oleh sektor industri.
Indonesia memiliki 6 pabrik urea dengan kapasitas terpasang total
mendekati 7 juta ton per tahun. Kelebihan produksi tahun lalu 2,04
juta ton diekspor. Volume ekspor tahun ini diperkirakan turun 50 %,
paling banyak 1 juta ton. Stok nasional diharapkan untuk
ditingkatkan menjadi 400.000 ton sedangkan sampai saat ini masih
berkisar 100.000 ton, untuk menghindari kasus kelangkaan pupuk yang
merugikan petani. |

producing urea with total production capacity closed to 7 million MT
/ year. The surplus as much as 2.04 million MT were exported, but
estimated to decrease 50 % for this year to be maximum 1 million MT.
As to prevent shortage inflict a loss upon the farmers, the
producer will increase national stock to be 400,000 MT at the end of
this year instead of 100,000 MT usually. |
