| Sampai saat ini terdapat 38 unit / pabrik
pengolahan daging yang beroperasi dengan kapasitas terpasang 125.254
ton / tahun. Perbaikan utilisasi pabrik meningkatkan jumlah impor
daging pada tahun 2000 sebanyak US$ 41.32 juta (setara 27,191 ton)
dibandingkan tahun 1999 sebesar US$ 15.37 juta (10,630 ton).
Sebaliknya ekspor daging olahan dalam kaleng turun dari 3,277 ton
(US$ 3.17 juta) pada 1999 menjadi 1,383 ton (US$ 2.14 juta) pada
tahun 2000. |

million in 1999. The export quantity of the products are in contrary
decreasing from 3,277 MT (US$ 3.17 million) to be US$ 2.14 million
(1,383 MT of processed meat). |
